Live music, drag races, the smell of gasoline and a return to normalcy can only mean one thing, Cruisin the Coast. Billed as the Nations Largest Block Party Cruisin The Coast was in full swing on the Mississippi Gulf Coast this year despite the threat of Covid-19. Cruisin' attracts thousands of classic cars to the Mississippi Gulf Coast every October and has for the last 24 years, a garage monkey's wet dream in a nutshell. This year is the first year we have lived within walking distance from the Ocean Springs event so I took a stroll downtown to see what was happening. Here are some of my favorites.
Of course it wouldn't be a party without the Molly Ringwalds from Leeds, England. The Ringwalds headlined the block party Thursday night and as always put on one hell of a show.
Finally the Royal Horses out of Hattiesburg closed out my weekend at Glory Bound Gyro in Ocean Springs. Fantastic band headlined by Shelby Kemp.
